Xovee Xu will be a Ph.D. student in computer science at the school of computer science and engineering, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, Sichuan, China, in Fall 2021. He received the B.S. degree and M.S. degree in software engineering from UESTC, in 2018 and 2021, respectively. He was born in Zizhou, Yulin, Shaanxi, China, in 1996.
He is the author of several research articles published in INFOCOM, SIGIR, and CSUR. His research interests include social network data mining and knowledge discovery, primarily focuses on information diffusion in full-scale graphs, human behavior understanding, and spatial-temporal data modeling in various social and academic scenarios.
Xovee has served as reviewers for refereed conferences and journals including KDD, AAAI, TKDE, TNNLS, and TON. He is a member of the IEEE and ACM.
Xovee lives in Chengdu, China. He speaks Chinese (Mandarin & Northern Shaanxi Dialect) and English, and he is learning Esperanto as well. His Chinese name is 徐增 (which means slowly increasing).
